  • The Lyke Wake Walk

For more details and links, look at our walking page.

All the walks are Easy or Moderate. There are few steep ascents and the highest point on the Moors is 420m. There are no major weather hazards and the area has a lower rainfall than the Lake District. However, you should bring suitable outdoor walking gear including boots and waterproof clothing.

Longer walks (30 km) will be available at weekends, but there will always be a choice to cut the route short. Other walks will be from 10 to 20 km, but we will suggest ways to extend these if you are interested.
