  What do students actually DO in Functional English?

We can't tell you THAT, but here are some examples for you of what is possible.

  

07:00 Students get up and go for a run on the beach or a swim at the swimming pool . . . other students stay in bed until the last possible minute!

08:00  Breakfast with your host.

08:50  Morning prayers led by staff and students.

 

09:15 - 10:45  Morning Classes

 10:50  Break for Coffee / Tea

 11:10 - 12.40   Morning Classes

13:00  Lunch

 

 
      AFTERNOONS    
   

 

   13:45  Afternoon classes

15:30  Study on your own with the Resource Centre or Computers.

17:45   High Tea with your host family or in your flat / house.

 

  
  EVENINGS     WEEKENDS  
 

19:30  Evening activities e.g.

  • Fellowship meeting
  • International Song Contest
  • Host family visits
  • Concerts and Theatre visits
  • English Pubs
  • Cinema

 

  
  • Saturday trips e.g. York
  • Outdoor activities e.g. Walks
  • Concerts
  • Church events
  • Visit Edinburgh, The Lake District, London etc.
